Finding Possibilities

From individual and team executive coaching, to workshop facilitation, leadership development and organisational change, Yellow Kite Development help you to get your ideas off the ground.

What I Do

Making the workplace a better place to work is one of my aims, helping people align what they do and how they behave with the things that are important to them. Whatever I’m working on with you I’ll bring a particular focus on building meaningful relationships as a starting point.

Coaching

  • Reconnects us with our ‘best version’ of ourselves even when times are tough
  • Offers space to be heard and deeply listened to
  • Prompts different ways of seeing things
  • Helps you discover first steps to making the changes you want

I work with people who are ready for change and willing to step over the line that has stood between them and the shift they want.

I coach individuals and teams. We can work virtually online or in person. While I spend much of my time coaching at the executive and strategic level, I believe coaching is for everyone and will work with you to design the coaching programme that’s best for you or your team.

Supervision for coaches

I offer space for reflection, insight and support for your coaching practice whatever stage you are at in your development as a coach. I support coaches through their accreditation process as well as working with coaches who have many years experience under their belt, discussing all aspects of their practice that they choose to bring.

You may also be interested in a group supervision experience as an alternative to individual supervision. These run virtually at the moment, at different times of the year so please contact me if you’d like to join a future group.

What I Bring

I’ve been working in the field of people development for over 25 years now, from my early days as a generalist HR manager to working as a consultant in the specialisms of Organisation, Leadership and Management Development.

Formerly Head of Leadership, Talent and People Change within financial services, my broad sector-wide experience, which includes international roles, has provided a valuable perspective on the challenges facing organisations and their leaders.

I’m a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), a certified professional coach and a qualified coach supervisor. I am accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and subscribe to the Global Code of Ethics.

A coaching style and mind set invariably underpins what I do, whether designing and delivering group interventions, facilitating action learning sets, or undertaking consultancy work supporting organisation reviews or redesign. My growing interest in systemic and team coaching enhances the work I do in the field of organisational development and group work.

I’m also qualified to bring profiling tools like MBTI or the TMSDI Team Management Profile to help individuals and teams clarify their strengths and preferred communication styles, and bridge the gaps between current performance and full potential.

I live out in rural west Stirling, with a view of the beautiful Trossachs and the Scottish Highlands beyond, for which I am daily grateful.
